Formed in Great Britain in the beginning of 20th Century. By far the most elegant and formal Style of Ballroom Dancing.
International Standard was heavy influenced by social dancing and various traditions of balls, a formal dance parties that originally included banquets and social dancing.
Here you can see Ladies dressed up in a formal attire with long skirts, often gloves, having an updo hairstyle. A proper attire for the gentlemen would be White Tie. The main goal of dancers is to show a movement of two bodies as one unit across the floor. Dancers tell the story of their characters through the dance with very strict limitations of the style that makes their job more difficult and their craft more impressive. Andrii Voloshko and Kateryna Kyrylenko are experienced professional Latin American competitive dancers, dance instructors and choreographers.
Andrii was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and started his dance career at the age of 9. His biggest achievements during his young years were becoming the Ukrainian National Youth Latin Vice-Champion and World Championship finalist. Andrii studied choreography at the Ukrainian National University of Art and Culture where he received Master’s degree.
Kateryna was born in 1992 in the South of Ukraine - city of Mykolaiv and began her successful dance career at the age of 4.
Andrii and Kateryna met in 2011 and short after they began to dance together became Ukrainian Amateur Latin Champions. After relocating to the United States they became winners and finalists of many prestigious competitions such as Emerald Ball, Embassy Ball, Empire Championship, Manhattan Championship, California Open, Vegas Open. They are United States Dance Championship 2017 and 2018 Professional Rising Star finalists and Top 3 Professional Rising Stars at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival, England.
Andrii and Kateryna are active competitive dancers with an outstanding presence on the dance floor and high respect in DanceSport industry. They are based in Orange County, California where they live and work together.
Mykhailo Bilopukhov and Anastasiia Shchypilina are originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. They knew each other since the childhood and both had successful partnerships before starting their career together in 2007.
Since then they were part of the Ukrainian National team and represented the country at the International level. They studied choreography at the Ukrainian National University of Art and Culture where they received their Master’s degree.
Their lives changed when in 2015 they started to represent USA.
Their incredible technique and amazing performance skills earned a tremendous success in the American field where Mykhailo and Anastasiia became winners and medalists of the largest competitions.

He started his dance journey at the age of 7 and has been a successful dancer ever since. Tykhon has graduated from Kyiv National University of Culture and Art.
Yana Zhyvkov was born and raised in the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv. She also started her dance career at the age of 7 and had been an extremely talented dancer since the early age. She has successfully competed in Standard and Latin developing her skills in various styles of ballroom dancing.
Both Tykhon and Yana are very talented dancers in all ballroom styles. Before moving to the United States they have represented Ukraine and competed in Standard, Latin and 10 Dance Program. Throughout their careers they became champions and finalists of many events including prestigious British Open in Blackpool. Tykhon and Yana are Professional competitors, choreographers and artists. They represent the American Smooth - a dynamic and exciting from of ballroom dance and their performances are always full of expression and amazing quality.

Serhiy Averkov is a professional Ballroom dancer from Ternopil, Ukraine. From young age dancing has always been his life as he started when he was only 4 years old. Despite being a graduator of Ternopil National Economic University, Serhiy decided to fully pursuit his dreams in the dance art.
Olena Barna is a professional Ballroom Dancer born In Lviv, Ukraine. Olena graduated from Lviv University of Physical Education. Besides dancing she has also finished a modeling school and worked as a fashion show choreographer.
Serhiy and Olena started their partnership in 2014. Through their career they tried themselves in different dance styles, such as: International Latin, American Smooth but the biggest success was achieved in International Ballroom. Serhiy and Olena won and became finalists of many dance competitions in the USA. The highlights of their career are 1st place in Professional Rising Star Ohio Star Ball, 2nd place in Professional Rising Star United States National championships and 4th place in Professional US Open Championships.
Craig and Andrea specialize in Cabaret/Exhibition dance, incorporating spectacular lift work through strength and agility, fused with the aesthetic beauty and fluidity of classic ballroom and ballet.
Craig and Andrea are the reingning Ohio Star Ball Cabaret Champions and vice Champions of the World Cabaret, Blackpool Open and Blackpool Dance Festival.
They have also coached Theater Arts at The Oprah Winfrey School for Girls in South Africa, and have been guest performers at the Guangzhou Nansha Dance Festival in China. Craig and Andrea now live in Daytona Beach Florida where they train both professionally and with ProAm students. They continue to represent the USA as a top ranked Cabaret duo while developing the interesting mix of ballroom and ballet.
Executive producers and directors of “KOLO” - Iaroslav and Liliia Bieliei are both Ukrainian Americans. Born and raised in Kyiv, they have always been inspired by diverse Ukrainian culture, talent and creativity of people. Iaroslav and Liliia find many things in common between Ukrainians and Americans such as pursuit of freedom and happiness through the hard work and dedication.
From their early age both were fully involved in Ballroom Dance industry, actively competing, performing and teaching. Having had successful carriers in Ukraine and winning the multiple Ukrainian Championship titles in the young age they have soon relocated to the United States to pursue the American dream.
Because of their professional achievements and education (they have both finished National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine with Bachelors degree) couple has quickly gained a lot of success in the American competitive dance arena. They became winners of multiple dance championships and competitions, as well as achieved the highest possible title of US National Professional Champions.Additionally they have successfully represented the USA in the international field gaining the World Show Dance Vice Champions title.
Iaroslav and Liliia are authors of “Prism Method”, a unique methodology of teaching and learning Ballroom Dancing that helps beginners and professionals to achieve their maximum potential and express themselves through the beautiful form of art.

An inspirer and a cofounder of KOLO Show, Natasha had a vision of bringing the exquisite art of dance to the broad audience in United States. This vision materialized when Natasha met her future Partners: Executive Producers of KOLO - Iaroslav and Liliia Bieliei, and an entrepreneur/investor Timothy Towles, who brought her vision to a reality.
Personally, inspired and moved by the art of dancing, Natasha manifested her childhood dream and few years ago started her dance journey by becoming a ProAm dancer, being trained by her wonderful teachers Iaroslav and Liliia Bieliei, and achieved a World ProAm and US National ProAm Champion titles in Open Gold International Ballroom, with her Professional partner and teacher, Iaroslav Bieliei.
Having a professional experience and background in Business Law and psychology, Natasha has dedicated herself to serve as an Organizer and a General Manager of Kolo show.
A preparer of music, Douglas maintains a busy schedule for professional organizations in the United States. His experiences include writing for ensembles of all levels and preparing music for individual composers, music publishers, Los Angeles recording sessions (feature films, large- scale video games), live nationally-televised events, and performances by major American symphony orchestras.
Maksim Buryachenko is a Visual Creator and Digital Artist with many years of experience.
Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine his main mission is to bring awareness to rich Ukrainian culture though his unique art. Maksim is promoting classical as well as underground art using animation and digital technologies. A big part of his work is helping young artists discover new edges in their creations and bringing their art alive.
His outstanding collaboration on KOLO Show is a perfect visual representation of Ukraine’s cultural legacy as well as the modern Ukrainian spirit.
Pianist, composer & arranger Scott Arcangel writes for and performs with a variety of jazz and commercial groups. Based in New York, his music is published through Maxwell Tree Music and UNC Jazz Press and is performed regularly by big bands, small groups, high school and collegiate jazz ensembles, as well as artists around the world.
Scott has studied with the renowned jazz faculty at the University of North Texas and William Paterson University. He has studied piano with Dan Haerle, and composition and arranging with Michael Abene, Jim McNeely and Paris Rutherford. He is the former Music Director and Arranger for The West Point Jazz Knights big band, producing several recordings, radio and television broadcasts, and hundreds of performances.
He is currently the Music Director of The Music Boutique, coordinating live music for hundreds of private events in New York and throughout the Northeast.
His recent notable arrangements have been for Claudio Roditi, Stefon Harris, The Charleston Jazz Orchestra, The Boston Pops Orchestra - and most recently, a collaboration between the Manhattan School of Music Jazz Philharmonic Orchestra and trumpeter Jon Faddis.
He has extensive experience as a performer and educator, and has presented clinics on arranging, improvisation, and ensemble performance at colleges, festivals, and music conferences - including recent presentations and performances at the Jazz Education Network's 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 Conferences.
